Run Lab
keep you running
and running well
Did you know that up to 80% of runners experience a running injury every year?
Did you also know that if you reduce the stress of each step while running by 10% you can run twice as long before your body breaks down?
Considering that injuries and lack of consistency with training is a big limiter to performance and your sanity, this is a big deal. Unfortunately, you won’t break the cycle of injury with training interruptions, rest, and a return to running with the same form. You also will find limited benefits in buying new shoes, braces, soft tissue tools, and supplements. In order to become a better runner and break away from the injury cycle you have to address the cause of your problems, your running technique.
When you understand how you run and why you get injured your relationship with running will change forever. Your running economy, performance, and injury risk will all improve along with your overall enjoyment of running. The Run Lab was created to empower you with the tools and knowledge needed to improve your running technique.
A comprehensive gait analysis and running assessment will identify your strengths and weaknesses in force, form, and function. Improving your limiting factors is the key to reducing your injury risk and improving performance. It is my passion to help runners get the most out of their training and their bodies. I can’t wait to help you become a better runner!
